Kumba grandstand attacked days before National Day celebrations

By DANIELA NEBA NGUM The Kumba City Council Grandstand on May 17 was set ablaze by unknown individuals as a means to frustrate the 45th National Day celebration in Kumba. According to some workers of the City Council, they discovered the fire during the early hours of May 17 when they came to work, after the flames have already consumed the back part, some part of the ceiling and some pillars of the grandstand.
