Renowned Cameroonian Boxer, Super Makia is no more

Renowned Cameroonian Boxer, Mbeng Jacob Makia, better known in the ring as Super Makia is no more. The all-time best African Champion died Thursday, August 1, at the Yaounde Military Hospital after a brief illness, the Cameroon Wrestling Federation has announced. In his entire career as a boxer, the 61 year-old stepped into the ring 87 times, registering 86 victories and a draw. Renowned Cameroonian Boxer, super Makia Super Makia started his wrestling career and became renowned in 1986, when he was crowned African wrestling champion of the year, a title he bore and jealousy kept for over 30 years.…
