Prometal Groupe initiates production of 600 000 bottles of gas annually

BY NDUMBE Bell Joseph Gaston Insiders say Prometal Groupe has started production at their promised domestic gas unit. This is said to be Cameroon’s first modern factory for manufacturing domestic gas bottles, according to a readout. The handiwork of the Prometal Groupe called Progaz is an investment valued at FCFA 18 billion, handling a capacity estimated at 600 000 gas bottles a year with a much lower current demand of 400 000 bottles a year.
