In a move that signals a transformative shift for the landscape of private academia in Cameroon, Dr. Francisca Hongla Biaka has been elected President of the National Association of Private Higher Education Institutions (ANIPES). The election was the centerpiece of an Elective General Assembly held in the serene town of Nkolandom. To ensure transparency and adherence to national educational standards, the proceedings were conducted under the direct supervision of the Secretary General at the Ministry of Higher Education.

Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and President of the Biaka Group, as well as the Vice Chancellor of the Biaka University Institute of Buea (BUIB), she brings a wealth of hands-on experience to the role.
