There is a current wave of consternation across quarters in Bonadikombo, Mile 4 Limbe, following the deaths of some three persons, over the past few days.
– Electricity pole hits little boy to death
In the afternoon of Friday, August 15, an electricity pole, drastically fell down, hitting a little boy by name Samuel on the skull. The incident which happened within the twinkle of an eye, broke the hearts of many in the Old Road vicinity, as the little boy succumbed to death apparently on the spot. Blood could be seen on his skull and on the ground where he layed face down, motionless. Upon witnessing the scenario, family members and neighbours went wild with shouts of cry, lamenting the demise of the young soul. The electricity pole, which was already old, weak and begging for renewable, could not survive the rains that day, observers say.
-Bike rider discovered dead in bedroom
A bike rider aged 29 by name Fokwa Charles was on Thursday, August 14 discovered dead in his bedroom, around the Safari neighborhood in Mile 4, Limbe. Reports say the bike rider, who lived with his Aunt, was up earlier in the day, looking hale and hearty. Since the deceased usually worked at night, he decided to take his daily usual nap in the course of the day, ahead of night work. Unfortunately, he never woke up, and was only discovered dead moments later. His remains are presently at the Regional Hospital Limbe mortuary, pending burial.
-Man dies on his way from farm
An elderly man whose name The SUN obtained as Tabi Bruno reportedly passed away on his way from his farm. Reports say Pa Tabi Bruno was discovered dead, around the Slaughter House in Mile 4, with no certainty of what must have resulted to his death. According to eye witness account, Pa Tabi who had gone to his farm that fateful day to harvest plantain, had taken longer to return, which caused his kids to get worried. Attempts to search the widower hours later resulted in the discovery of his remains, which eye witness recount, did not depict any physical injuries.
