Constitutional Council confirms Senatorial lists published by ELECAM

By Doh James Sonkey The Constitutional Council has rejected all the 13 petitions filed in by political parties for the Senate election of March 12, 2023. By so doing, it confirmed the lists published last February 7, 2023 by the Electoral Board of ELECAM. After examining the files last February 15, 2023, members of the Council headed by its President, Clement Atangana rejected the petitions for not complying with the laws governing elections in the country.
