PUBLIC NOTICE
The Palace of Mbinde, under the authority of His Royal Majesty Chief Edward Ndumbe Makoko, hereby informs the general public and the entire Mbinde community of the following:
Attention to Sub-Prefectorial Decision No. 5B/2026
The public is requested to take note of Sub-Prefectorial Decision No. 5B/2026, entitled:
“Prohibiting Illegal Public Manifestations in Mbinde, Buea Subdivision.”
All members of the public are urged to read and comply strictly with the provisions of this decision.
Warning on Land Transactions in Mbinde
His Royal Majesty further wishes to inform the public that any person who has bought, or is in the process of buying, land in Mbinde Village from Chief Ndiko Fonderson Henry does so entirely at his or her own risk.
Chief Ndiko Fonderson Henry, who is the Chief of Mevio, a village located in a different subdivision, does not own any portion of land in Mbinde Village, Buea.
This warning also applies to individuals who, out of fear or misinformation, are negotiating with him over lands previously purchased from the rightful landowners of Mbinde.
Fraudulent Land Certificate
The Palace wishes to make it clear that the land certificate purportedly established by the said Chief over a portion of Mbinde land is considered fraudulent. Members of the public are therefore advised to exercise utmost caution.
Final Warning
To be forewarned is to be forearmed. The public is urged to remain vigilant and to verify all land transactions through the appropriate traditional and administrative authorities.
