Banana: Newcomer CDBM grabs third place from Boh Plantations in April 2024

In June 2023, the arrival of Compagnie des Bananes de Mondoni (CDBM) in the Cameroonian banana market marked a significant milestone. With 1,208 tons of bananas exported in April 2024, as reported by the Association Bananière du Cameroun (Assobcam), this subsidiary of Compagnie Fruitière de Marseille has achieved its highest performance to date. This result propelled the company to third place among banana exporters in Cameroon, ahead of Boh Plantations PLC.
