Bamenda Gov’t delegate urges population to shun separatist manipulation

By Moma Sandrine The government delegate to the Bamenda city council, Vincent Ndumu Nji, has urged denizens of the town to fight against all forms of manipulation coming from separatist fighters. Following the ongoing Anglophone crisis in the North West region, inhabitants have been forced to stay indoors on Mondays, boycott any commercial/socio-economic/political activity ongoing in the town etc. In the just passed presidential election, inhabitants of the North West joined their counterparts in the South West region to observe ten days of ghost town.
