Cameroon’s security forces in search of Tanwani Effendi for allegedly terrorist sponsorship

BY CYNTHIA BIH Cameroonian security forces are in search of Tanwani Effendi Tanwani, a Cameroonian who was arrested in the Wotutu area in Buea Subdivision by the government forces of law and order February 9, 2026 for allegedly sponsoring terrorism. Tanwani Effendi Tanwani, on the run due to the ongoing Anglophone Crisis According to report he was later released on  February 13. However, government forces paid a visit to his resident for further investigation and found out that he is nowhere to be found.
