Divisional Officers granted competence to sign attestations of certificates

By Noela EBOB BISONG Hitherto solely within the competence of Governors and Senior Divisional Officers – SDOs, the Minister of Territorial Administration has now granted competence to Divisional Officers DOs to sign attestations of original certificates. In a June 11 Circular, Minister Paul Atanga Nji says the move is in response to multiple complaints and frustrations on the part of holders of such attestations.
